LKAS is a driver assist system that uses a camera to identify lane divisions. It proactively works to keep your Honda within your detected lane by alerting you if your vehicle begins to drift. If your vehicle sways from the intended lane, without the use of a turn signal, a visual warning appears accompanied by an audible chime. The system will also gently tug the steering wheel and guide the car to the center of the lane. Although the system may move the steering wheel to adjust its course, you can easily and safely hold your course if desired. The Lane Keeping Assist System can easily be activated and deactivated at your convenience.
