Automobile Magazine's All-Star, the 2013 Honda Accord

The 2013 Honda Accord now available at NUMBER 7 HONDA was recently named one of Automobile Magazine's 2013 All-Stars, a very prestigious honor, indeed. And, with all the excitement surrounding the new Accord, we thought it'd be the perfect opportunity to share with you, our readers, what makes the Accord such a winner.

For instance …

  • Powertrain: the base-level 2013 Honda Accord features Honda's brand-new Earth Dreams technology inside a DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine. The new, direct-injection technology improves fuel-efficiency while still producing up to 185 horsepower. There is also a V6 option which bumps output to 278 horses. Transmission pairing is a 6-speed manual or automatic, one more gear from previous versions for an even more fun-to-drive Accord.
  • Performance: We've already mentioned the 2013 Honda Accord's ability to produce up to 185 ponies at 6,400 rpm, but it's worth mentioning that the zippy model can also sprint from zero-to-sixty in just 7.2 seconds on its front-wheel drivetrain. All this, combined, allows for the efficient Accord to achieve an EPA-estimated 24 mpg city with ten more on the highway*
  • Notable Features: Safety was a major consideration for Honda with the development of its new Accord model. That's why the 2013 Honda Accord offers a six-standard airbag system (including front and side curtains), four-wheel disc, anti-lock brakes, Vehicle Stability Assist with traction control and Brake Assist as standard fare. As for convenience and comfort, drivers will be pleased to find heated power mirrors, heated front seats, a navigation system, LED head and brake lights and Honda's lane departure warning system.
