Honda Sending 10 Vehicles to Conquer Pike's Peak

It's that time of year again. The time where we hear all about automaker's performance arms and what they are doing for one of the most exciting car events in the United States; the Pike's Peak International Hill Climb. Honda is no exception. In fact, they plan to go all out, bringing 10 vehicles across different classes to the race.

Setting the record for the number of classes by a single manufacturer, Honda will enter cars, motorcycles and ATVs as they go for glory at high speeds, whipping around tight corners on the steep and historic Pike's Peak. It is part of the automaker's NSX Project, which was some of you might remember as a vehicle sold until 2005 under Honda's luxury nameplate, Acura. Now, the NSX is designed specifically for the track and events like this, with plenty of modifications and high-quality Honda parts to boost performance.

Last year, the Honda NSX finished a respectable fourth overall with a time of 11 minutes and 42 seconds. They are going for it all in 2013, with the hope of claiming victory, and we here at NUMBER 7 HONDA are confident they can do it.

We'll keep you updated on any developments involving the new Honda vehicles headed to Pike's Peak here on our blog. In the meantime, feel free to stop in to 5555 Highway 7 Woodbridge, ON today. Our team is happy to detail vehicles like the Accord and Pilot, answer any questions you might have, and set up test drives in models that interest you.
